Financial Analyst - Open Job Posting
Opportunity:
The Analyst will support Winchester Carlisle’s strategic advisory (Carwin Advisors) and development business. This is a unique opportunity to experience several functional areas of real estate operations and investment.
Duties:
- Update strategic business plans and internal underwriting for each of WC’s land assets
- Prepare and maintain internal “deal sheet” analyses for prospective transactions
- Prepare due diligence packages and detailed underwriting for new acquisitions
- Maintain quarterly budgets for various projects and assemble invoicing information
- Assemble market research and demographic data to support due diligence efforts
- Review, format and edit due diligence and analysis of other team members
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analysis for senior management
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in real estate finance, accounting or investment banking, homebuilding, residential development or commercial development.
- Prior acquisitions experience and underwriting a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Strong academic record.
- Very strong quantitative background. Extensive MS Excel modeling experience.
- Extremely Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Independent self-starter. Can deliver quality work product with minimal oversight and direct supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team player. Willing to take on assignments and challenges outside comfort zone or area of direct prior experience.
