Carwin Advisors Promotes Michael Ross to Senior Director

(LAS VEGAS, NV) Carwin Advisors today announced the promotion of Michael Ross from Director to Senior Director. Mr. Ross brings over 29 years of engineering, land development and management experience to his role, having previously served as the Senior Executive Vice President for G. C. Wallace Engineering, the largest Engineering firm in the State of Nevada. Michael Ross leads Carwin’s projects in the Las Vegas area.

Mr. Ross manages Carwin’s Las Vegas office and has worked directly with clients throughout the Valley on the entitlement, infrastructure and development issues associated with several large master planned communities. Mr. Ross is routinely sought after for his in-depth expertise on the cost elements and implementation of large scale water, sewer and drainage facilities.
Before joining Carwin Advisors Mr. Ross was the lead engineer for the development of numerous master planned communities in Las Vegas, including Summerlin, Anthem, Aliente and several Del Webb Sun City communities. Mr. Ross has led engineering efforts for many clients including: The Howard Hughes Corporation, Del Webb Communities, American Nevada Corporation, Pardee Homes, and Pulte Homes. His projects ranged in size from 100 homes to over 32,600 homes on 7,100 acres.
Mr. Ross has assisted clients in numerous land acquisitions, including BLM property acquisitions via land exchanges and public auctions. He has also assisted developers with the entitlement, development, subdivision and resale of builder parcels both on a finished lot and super-pad basis. Mr. Ross also led the community design, while coordinating closely with golf course architects and contractors for the delivery, of nine golf courses in the Las Vegas area.
Mr. Ross holds a Masters in Civil Engineering and a BA in Chemistry from University of Idaho. He is a Professional Engineer in Nevada and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
